File June Newsletter
It’s hard to believe that the school year is almost over. With the end of the 2016-2017 school year only four weeks away, there is a great deal happening around CLMS. We have recently completed the 2017-2018 School Education Plan (SEP). The purpose of the SEP is to determine the direction in which we will work to move our school next year. We reviewed RVS goals and set strategies to reach them. We would like to thank the Parent Council and the teachers for helping us in this process. The SEP will be posted to our website later this month.
File May 2017 Newsletter
We are in our final homestretch for the year. This means Provincial Achievement and Gates testing will be starting in early May. Grade 9 parents are reminded that Provincial Achievement test scores will account for 10% of their child's 3rd term mark. We want our student to understand the importance of preparing for these exams and commit to the review needed.

Our next Parent – Teacher conferences are scheduled on Tuesday, April 4th and Thursday, April 6th, from 4-7pm.  Teachers are available for 10-minute time slots and teaches will not be partnering for these times. The Online booking system will be opened on March 29 at 4:00pm.
File March 2017 Newsletter
March is coming in like a lion and hopefully, out like a lamb. St. Patrick’s Day is one of my favorites days because it signals the arrival of spring. Let’s wear something green on March 17 to cheer on the new season! Report cards will be emailed out between March 21 -24. If you do not receive an electronic copy of the report card by March 25, please email your child’s homeroom teacher or Edgar Rojas. We are hopeful things will run smoothly.
File February Newsletter 2017
February? Already? I am always surprised at how quickly the year goes. Once we hit this month, the time really seems to gather speed and the year finishes quickly. Students are settled into routines and completing really interesting assignments and projects. I do not remember a winter of so much shoveling!
