Child Development Advisor - Ms Kelly

Welcome Back to CLMS 2020!

As a CDA (Child Development Advisor), I support students in areas such as social, emotional and behavioral development, peer relationships, anger management, conflict resolution, self-esteem, bullying, anxiety, goal setting, exam prep and positive study habits.

Along with my involvement with students, I am also able to be liaison between home, school, community, RVS and outside agencies. I strive to be an advocate for all students at Chestermere Lake Middle School.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me by e-mail or call the school at 403- 273-1343 ext. 8407

Brains: Journey to Resilience

In a world where human brains inch across snowy landscapes, where perils lurk in every shadow, one community will rally behind a struggling brain—and just might change the world in the process. Learn about the resilience scale in this scientifically rigorous (and cinematically epic) video created by the Alberta Family Wellness Initiative in consultation with the FrameWorks Institute and the Harvard Center on the Developing Child. Supporting Families During School Re-Entry

Rocky View Schools (RVS) recognizes that the COVID-19 pandemic is an unprecedented situation that continues to create uncertainty for families, particularly as restrictions begin to loosen and Alberta works to determine what the “new normal” will look like. To help parents and guardians support their children's mental, physical, social and emotional well-being throughout the changing status of the pandemic, RVS’ Learning Support Team has provided a variety of resources and activities for families. Please return often to find out which new resources have been added.  Copy and paste the link below for more information
