Welcome to Mrs. Witte's Home Page

Welcome to my home page!  I teach grade 9 Humanities to students in to 9W and 9Z,  along with a range of exploratory courses.  Looking forward to meeting everyone this year.

Grade 9 students bring their own devices to class daily.  All coursework will be made available in a course shell on Moodle and/or in Google Classroom, including the students' social studies textbook.  Assignments that have been collected will be noted in PowerSchool on due dates.  Students who do not submit work on due dates will be asked to send an email to a parent, ccing me in the communication.  In this way, parents get instant communication and may support from home.  Marks will be updated in PowerSchool approximately every two weeks.  Many digital assignments will be distributed to students in a Google Classroom.
